Jakarta, VIVA – The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Bakrie, attended a dialogue hosted by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), alongside top executives from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and key players in the capital market.
In an Instagram post (@anindyabakrie), Bakrie shared insights from the discussion, which carried the theme "Solidarity and Synergy Among Capital Market Stakeholders."
The dialogue addressed the decline of the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) last week and its future outlook.
Bakrie revealed that at the end of last week, Kadin Indonesia and OJK Chairman Mahendra Siregar also discussed the IHSG’s recent downturn.
"Going forward, a program is being prepared to drive the growth of the capital market industry, including measures to anticipate upcoming challenges," Bakrie said on Tuesday (March 4).

On Monday (March 3), Bakrie stated that most stocks closed in the green, with the IHSG surging 3.97% to 6,519.65, breaking past the 6,500 level.
This rally was supported by gains across all major stock indices, which, according to Bakrie, signals growing market optimism.
"Hopefully, this is a positive signal for Indonesia’s capital market industry. I hope the industry continues to grow and makes a significant contribution to economic progress and the prosperity of Indonesia," Bakrie remarked.
