ROG Phone 6 Has Launched, Bring More Extraordinary Specification

VIVA – Republic of Gamers (ROG) officially launched its newest smartphone series namely ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro on Tuesday night, July 5, 2022. ROG claims this smartphone offers balanced specifications, even being able to beat laptop and PC or desktop specifications.
"This smartphone offers extraordinary specifications that can match or even beat a laptop or PC," Asus Director of Technical Marketing, Sascha Krohn said at the launch of the ROG Phone 6.
Here are the specifications offered by ROG Phone 6:
Design
ROG Phone 6 comes with a futuristic sci-fi design with two color choices for the regular version of the ROG Phone 6, storm white and phantom black. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 6 Pro comes exclusively in one color, namely Storm White.
The ROG phone 6 pro series is equipped with ROG vision that will light up according to six different scenarios, such as when charging, incoming calls, playing games, and other information systems.
Meanwhile, on the back of the ROG phone 6, there is an aura of RGB LED logo on the center of the back of the phone which further adds to the futuristic impression of this smartphone.
This smartphone is equipped with two USB-C battery charging ports which are under and on the side of the phone body. In addition, there is also an HDMI port that allows this smartphone to be connected to larger screens such as TVs and projector screen.
Chipset and Processor
The ROG Phone 6 series smartphone is armed with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 4nm fabrication with 3.2 GHz CPU core capabilities and ROG Phone 6 will be supported with 12/16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 16GB for ROG Phone 6 Pro.
Meanwhile, this chipset is capable of maximizing power efficiency by up to 30 percent when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Regarding the operating software, the ROG Phone 6 series also uses Android 12 OS with ROG UI and Zen UI.
