VIVA – Banten is a province on the island of Java, Indonesia. Banten has many tourist attractions such as beaches, museums, and Ujung Kulon National Park (a place for the preservation of one rare animal in Indonesia, the Badak Cula Satu). The reason why these places are called haunted places, because of the many sightings that make goosebumps and scary. Some of these places used to be tourist attractions, but now, these places are abandoned.

Based on stories circulating in people, this dam is the most haunted place in Banten and often causes victims to drown unnaturally. Not only that, in this dam there are many voices of soldiers coming from the spirits of war victims and the frightening appearance of kuntilanak (Indonesian ghost).
2. Kubur Island

Kubur Island is a mass grave during the Dutch colonial era. On this island, there are various mysterious and scary stories located at the end of this beach.
According to local people, fishermen often find human skeletons. In addition, there is also the myth of the bobongkong ghost, a kind of transparent white ghost that wanders because of its missing limbs.
3. Mount Pulosari

Mount Pulosari in Banten Province is indeed famous as one of the haunted places. According to the circulated story, there is a figure of Banaspati or Fireball who follows these mountain climbers.
This sighting will generally guide climbers off the hiking trail which can make the climber get lost. In addition, several areas in this mountain are often damaged because of being disturbed by the figure of a large pig-shaped ghost.
