F1 Brazilian Grand Prix: Statistics and Schedule for This Weekend

Sprint Race
Pierre Gasly and Carlos Sainz earned their first podium finishes at the circuit after finishing P2 and P3 in 2019. Interlagos is the second circuit to host a sprint race, which will be held for the sixth time in the Formula One circus in the last two seasons.
F1 GP Emilia Romagna and Austria hosted the previous two sprints this season, while British last year, Italian and Sao Paulo GPs were the introductory venues for the 100km race.
Max Verstappen became the sprint king with three wins in England, Emilia Romagna, and Austria, while Bottas won twice.

After the constructors' and racers' titles were taken by Red Bull and Verstappen, Mercedes is now competing with Ferrari for second place in the standings. The Italian manufacturer is 40 points ahead with 96 points up for grabs from Brazil until the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
Alpine and McLaren are separated by seven points in the race for fourth place, while Aston Martin is four points behind sixth-placed Alfa Romeo.
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen has the opportunity to maintain his title record this season to 15 times while Red Bull wants a winning streak in 10 races.
