4. More Modern Defense System
Huawei Indonesia's Director of ICT and Business Strategy, Mohamad Rosidi, explained that Huawei is actively exploring innovative technologies related to smart cities, which can support the digital transformation of the intelligent defense system 5.0.Â
"The smart defense system is one part of the implementation of a safe city. Huawei has experience in handling more than 700 cities in more than 100 countries and regions," Rosidi said at the National Resilience Seminar 'Smart Defense 5.0 of the National Capital' at Borobudur Hotel last May.Â
He added: "Therefore, the planning and implementation of smart defense systems can adopt and integrate experiences from other cities in the world,"
The expected smart defense system is the ability to detect threats to national security and defense, with various data between parties, as well as more accurate information processing to support an efficient, fast, and directed decision-making process.Â
5. Waste Management
The government is working with a Dubai-based company, Alserkal Group - Envirol for waste management at IKN. This is recognized as a form of support in realizing a smart and green city in IKN later.
The waste that will be handled by the company from the United Arab Emirates includes the separation of Fat, Oil, and Grease (FOG) waste or food waste.Â
Proper disposal of food waste such as waste fat and cooking oil is said to be able to preserve environmental infrastructure in the new capital city.
