Bridgestone Introduces New Line of Eco-tires

Karawang – Bridgestone Tire Indonesia officially introduced its newest product, Ecopia EP300 Enliten. This car tire is claimed to have many advantages, especially to overcome environmental issues. 

President Director of Bridgestone Indonesia, Mukiat Sutikno said that the Ecopia EP300 tire is aimed to solve the environmental issues problem that are buzzing in the world today. 

"Lately, issues related to the environment are getting stronger. Therefore, the Ecopia EP300 Enliten Tire comes as our strong commitment to care about environmental aspects," Sutikno said at the Bridgestone Factory, Karawang, on Wednesday. 

As an environmentally friendly tire, Sutikno remarked the Ecopia EP300 Enliten has been embedded with rolling resistance coefficient (RRC) technology which is 4 percent lower than the previous product. 

"This will have a significant impact on low CO2 production, due to reduced fuel consumption," 

Then, Ecopia EP300 has also been embedded with Nanopro technology compound as the latest material for coating tire rubber. The highly dispersed silica can reduce rolling resistance thereby reducing energy loss.

In addition, the tread is also crown-modeled, so the contact pressure between the tire and the road surface is more even. Because of this design, the Ecopia EP300 tire has better grip and rolling resistance. 

The performance of Enliten's Ecopia EP300 is also supported by the Round Rib Edge technology that maintains rigidity against lateral forces to ensure better contact shape and contact pressure distribution. 

This provides a better handling experience for drivers on wet tracks. In addition to superior performance, by Bridgestone's commitment to delivering superior quality products, supported by the use of Bridgestone's advanced technology, the Ecopia EP300 Enliten has a longer service life.

As information, the Ecopia EP300 Enliten tire will be ready for market starting in the next few weeks, precisely at the end of November 2023. So far, Bridgestone has not revealed the price for this latest car tire.
