Jokowi's Son-in-law Elected as National Figure of Indonesia

Jakarta – Son-in-law of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Bobby Afif Nasution, was chosen as a national figure hailing from South Tapanuli (Tabagsel) in Alaman Bolak, Padangsidimpuan City, on Sunday.

This recognition was bestowed by the kings of South Tapanuli and community figures from the region, including Harry Lotung, Gus Irawan Pasaribu, Dolly Pasaribu, Abdul Basith Dalimunthe, Siwan Siswanto, and Rusydi Nasution.

The inauguration of the Mayor of Medan was also witnessed by the people of Padangsidimpuan City, where they became witnesses to a historic event in the lives of the South Tapanuli community, especially in Padangsidimpuan City.

Aside from being recognized as a national figure, President Jokowi's son-in-law also received an honorary traditional title, Sutan Porang Gunung Baringin Naposo.

During Bobby's inauguration as a national figure, the event was also enriched with various cultural treasures, such as the entrance procession and the donning of the traditional Ulos of South Tapanuli, followed by the customary Manortor Culture that stirred a sense of togetherness.

Bobby Nasution expressed his pride at receiving this honor as a National Figure.

"I feel proud and very grateful for the conferment of the title as a National Figure from Tabagsel, recently reaffirmed by the Kings and traditional figures of Tabagsel," said Bobby, accompanied by Kahiyang Ayu.

He also affirmed his commitment to championing the development of South Tapanuli and encouraged the people to wisely choose their leaders.

As information, Bobby Nasution is a son of South Tapanuli who is now recognized as a national figure.
