New President Prabowo Subianto Calls Public for Unity

Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka have officially been elected as president and vice president, following the announcement of the election results by the Indonesian General Election Commission on Wednesday.
Prabowo expressed gratitude to the people who exercised their voting rights in the 2024 elections.
"We would like to express our appreciation to those who exercised their voting rights in the 2024 elections," the new President said during a press conference at Kertanegara IV, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

Prabowo also conveyed his gratitude to the Election Commission and the Electoral Organizers' Honorary Council for the smooth conduct of the 2024 elections, as well as to the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) for ensuring that this year's democratic process proceeded orderly and safe.
"On February 14, 2024, we experienced the smooth implementation of the elections. On behalf of Prabowo-Gibran and the Indonesian Forward Coalition, we thank the Election Commission, the Electoral Organizers' Honorary Council, and great appreciation to the Indonesian TNI-Police for conducting the 2024 elections in a very orderly, safe, and peaceful manner," Prabowo remarked.
Prabowo then expressed gratitude to the Indonesian Forward Coalition (KIM) that supported him, especially to the chairpersons and all members of the political parties involved.
Additionally, Prabowo thanked the National Campaign Team (TKN) and all supporting volunteers.
Prabowo called on all Indonesian people to unite in leading the country towards prosperity and justice.
He emphasized the importance of reinforcing national spirit amidst differences.
"We invite all Indonesian people to look ahead, unite, and work hand in hand. We must be harmonious, cooperate to bring Indonesia towards prosperity and justice," Prabowo stated.
"We must strengthen the spirit of nationalism once again. If there are differences among us, it is good. We respect differences. The election is over, and we must respect all the people's choices,"
