TikTok-Tokopedia Integration System Completed

Jakarta – The Ministry of Trade has stated that the integration process undertaken by Tokopedia and TikTok Shop has been completed.
Transactions conducted now have obtained the Electronic System Provider Registration (TDPSE) issued by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo).
Director General of Domestic Trade, Isy Karim said that the integration is realized in an application named Shop Tokopedia. The application is fully managed by Tokopedia, handling payments, user data, and merchant management.
"The Shop Tokopedia application replaces the TikTok Shop application previously managed by TikTok. Currently, the Shop Tokopedia application has obtained the Electronic System Provider Registration issued by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics," Karim said in a statement on Thursday.

Karim explained that the Ministry of Trade will continue to monitor all operations of these platforms in accordance with Minister of Trade Regulation Number 31 of 2023 concerning Business Licensing, Advertising, Development, and Supervision of Business Actors in Trade Through Electronic Systems.
He emphasized that this is a form of commitment and support from the government in facilitating the development of the digital commerce or e-commerce industry.
Especially to provide benefits to the national economy, particularly in favor of local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
"The Ministry of Trade will continue to monitor the operation of these applications like other e-commerce platforms to ensure compliance with Minister of Trade Regulation Number 31 of 2023,"
Earlier, Tokopedia President Melissa Siska Juminto stated that the transition process of the TikTok Shop electronic system went smoothly thanks to the commitment and seriousness of all parties including the support and guidance from the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs.
"We can confirm that as of March 27, 2023, Tokopedia and Shop Tokopedia have completed and fulfilled all requirements according to the trial period set by the Ministry of Trade," Juminto remarked.
Therefore, Tokopedia and Shop Tokopedia have complied with Minister of Trade Regulation Number 31 of 2023, she concluded.
