Prabowo Subianto Received Prestigious Police Meritorious Service Star

Jakarta – Indonesian Defense Minister and President-elect Prabowo Subianto has once again received the honor of Bintang Bhayangkara Utama from the Chief of the National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, at the Indonesian National Police Headquarters in Jakarta, on Thursday (June 20).
Bintang Bhayangkara Utama is an honor from the Indonesian Government awarded to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to advancing the Indonesian National Police, going beyond their duties.
This honor is given to the president, vice president, Chief of the Indonesian National Police, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, chiefs of staff of the military branches, ministers, officials of ministerial level, heads of state/government, chiefs of police, commanders, and chiefs of staff of other countries.

The awarding of the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama is based on Law Number 20 of 2009 concerning Titles, Decorations, and Honors; Government Regulation Number 1 of 2010 concerning the Board of Titles, Decorations, and Honors; Government Regulation Number 35 of 2010 concerning the Implementation of Law No. 20 of 2009 on Titles, Decorations, and Honors; Presidential Decree Number: 112/TK/Year 2022 concerning the Awarding of the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama; and National Police Regulation Number 4 of 2012 concerning Procedures for Submitting Proposals for Decorations and Honors.
The ceremony was also attended by almost all principal officials of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters, including assistants and aides to the Chief of the National Police, as well as several principal officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense.
As additional information, Prabowo Subianto previously received the honorary rank of Honorary General of the Indonesian National Armed Forces during a joint leadership meeting of the Indonesian National Army-Police by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) last February in Jakarta.
