Prabowo Subianto Asks Russia to Explore Defense Cooperation

Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto received an official visit from the Russian Federation's Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Sergei Gennadievich Tolchenov, at the Ministry of Defense in Jakarta on Monday (Sept 9).
This meeting marks an important moment in strengthening the cooperative relationship between Indonesia and Russia, particularly in addressing various security challenges and maintaining global stability.

"My appreciation to H.E. Sergei Gennadievich Tolchenov, the new Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Indonesia, for taking the time to make an official visit to me as the Indonesian Defense Minister," the minister conveyed.
On this occasion, Minister Subianto also extended his congratulations to Ambassador Sergei on his new role as the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Indonesia.
"I look forward to explore our defense cooperation further. Together, we can handle security challenges and contribute to global peace and prosperity," he concluded.
