"The average BPIH for 1446 H/2025 M is IDR 89,410,258.79. This is lower compared to the 2024 average BPIH, which reached IDR 93,410,286,” the minister remarked.

The BPIH consists of two components:

• The portion directly paid by pilgrims, known as the Pilgrimage Travel Fee (Bipih).
• The Value Benefit component, sourced from the optimization of pilgrims’ initial deposit funds.

The reduction in BPIH impacts a decrease in the Bipih paid by pilgrims and the Value Benefit allocated from the optimization of pilgrims' initial deposits.

"The average Bipih paid by pilgrims is IDR 55,431,750.78, or 62% of the total BPIH for 2025. The remaining 38%, averaging IDR 33,978,508.01, is allocated from the Value Benefit,” he explained.
