Bakrie Group Reaffirms Commitment to Renewable Energy on 83rd Anniversary

Jakarta, VIVA – Bakrie Group marked its 83rd anniversary with a prayer and thanksgiving ceremony at the gravesite of Achmad Bakrie and Roosniah Bakrie at Karet Bivak Cemetery, Jakarta.
Vice President Director of Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR), A Ardiansyah Bakrie, stated that this prayer and thanksgiving event is an annual tradition held to honor the late haji Achmad Bakrie.
"This is a routine event we hold every year as a tribute and expression of gratitude for his invaluable contributions in founding, building, and expanding the Bakrie business group," Bakrie said on Monday (Feb 10).

He also emphasized that this event serves as a moment of reflection on the long journey the company has taken together.
He expressed his hope that, as Bakrie Group reaches its 83rd year, it can continue to bring positive impact to many people.
"We hope that our business is not just about making a profit, but also about creating something that benefits and involves many people," he stated.
As the company enters its 83rd year, Bakrie highlighted several key focus areas, including digitalization and renewable energy.
"The most important thing to remember is that we must not fall behind the times. The world is changing—moving away from fossil fuels and toward renewables. We must adapt, because if we resist change and insist on staying the same, we will be left behind," he concluded.
