The aluminum shroud with a bold "Z" emblem, along with fewer plastic components, enhances the bikes’ premium and sporty appeal.
Meanwhile, the sleek fuel tank and shorter tail cowl—complemented by modern LED taillights—further emphasize their lightweight and agile nature.
“The launch of the Kawasaki Z900 and Z900 SE marks a major step forward in delivering a more thrilling and innovative riding experience. With the striking Sugomi design and competitive pricing, these models redefine street performance,” said Michael C. Tanadhi, Dept. Head of Sales & Promotion at Kawasaki Indonesia, during the launch event in Jakarta.
At the heart of the Kawasaki Z900 lies a 948cc In-Line Four engine, delivering powerful and responsive performance across all throttle ranges.
The inverted front forks and horizontal back-link rear suspension ensure light yet stable handling in various road conditions.
The Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) allows for seamless gear changes without using the clutch, adding to a more engaging and dynamic riding experience.
The Z900 SE takes things up a notch with high-performance Öhlins rear suspension for superior ride quality, as well as Brembo brakes that provide exceptional stopping power.
The SE variant also features exclusive graphics and color accents, enhancing its luxurious and high-performance character.
Additionally, the Z900 SE comes with a more advanced front suspension setup, offering precise adjustability for maximum comfort and control on long rides.
Both models are packed with advanced technology to elevate the riding experience.
The new LED taillight with Light Guiding technology not only looks modern but also provides brighter and sharper illumination.
A large, high-tech TFT display ensures clear and easy-to-read information at a glance. Riders can also enjoy the latest version of Rideology the App Motorcycle, now featuring voice command integration.
This allows riders to control the app hands-free, access essential riding data, and adjust settings effortlessly.
The app also enables seamless smartphone connectivity, providing real-time updates on vehicle status and turn-by-turn navigation directly on the bike’s display.
For long-distance touring, both the Z900 and Z900 SE come equipped with Electronic Cruise Control, ensuring a smoother and more relaxed riding experience.
Kawasaki has set pricing for the Z900 at IDR 199,900,000, while the Z900 SE is priced at IDR 219,900,000.
However, both models are being offered in limited quantities, with only 50 units available per variant.
Once this initial quota is sold out, prices are expected to increase under a dynamic pricing system, rewarding the fastest buyers with the best deals.
“We are implementing a dynamic pricing strategy, where the price of these models will fluctuate based on how quickly the quota is filled. This gives customers a chance to secure their dream bike at the best possible price,” Tanadhi explained.
