Meanwhile, KIKT Chairman Boy Thohir noted that the event brought together 30 leaders from Chinese companies who directly met with Indonesian entrepreneurs.
"Business matching events like this show the strength of the relationship between the two leaders. When both leaders are present, Mr. Anindya and I feel all the more encouraged," Boy stated.
He also outlined eight industry clusters showcased at the event, highlighting the wide-ranging cooperation potential.
“These include AI robotics, high-speed rail, aviation, downstream industry, healthcare, education, and other technologies. It demonstrates the serious commitment of both countries to strengthening economic cooperation and people-to-people diplomacy,” Boy concluded.
For context, the Indonesia-China Business Reception 2025 was attended by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
The MoU between Kadin Indonesia and the CCCI aims to establish a strategic and institutional framework to promote:
Increased bilateral trade and investment flows between Indonesia and China;
Institutional involvement to support private sector development;
Practical mechanisms for business collaboration, information exchange, and policy support;
Participation in joint initiatives aligned with the broader diplomatic and economic relationship between the two countries.
