President Prabowo to Attend SPIEF 2025

Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, has received a special invitation from Russian President Vladimir to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025.Â
This was confirmed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, who stated that President Prabowo and a limited delegation would first make an official visit to Singapore before heading to Russia.
"President Prabowo will first visit Singapore to meet with Singapore’s Prime Minister, His Excellency Lawrence Wong, and attend the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat on June 16, 2025," Wijaya said on Sunday (June 15).
After the visit to Singapore, President Prabowo will travel directly to Russia at the invitation of President Putin. He will receive an official state welcome and hold a bilateral meeting.

"A bilateral meeting is scheduled for June 19, 2025," he added.
On June 20, 2025, the head of state is scheduled to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025, where he will serve as a keynote speaker.
"President Prabowo will attend SPIEF 2025 as the keynote speaker," Teddy confirmed.
He emphasized that this state visit is a strategic move to strengthen the comprehensive partnership between Indonesia and Russia.
"This also shows that Indonesia, as a major nation, is gaining more recognition on the global stage—especially in the face of rising global challenges," he concluded.
