The New Year celebration is known to fall in the month between January and February. These months in Indonesia are known to be the peak of the rainy season. However, according to Chinese beliefs, the rain that falls in the new year itself is believed to provide luck.Â

Rain is a symbol of good luck in China and we see it most often in places where superstitions are quite prevalent, running water, fountains, and waterfalls, so rain ahead of Chinese New Year is also a sign of good luck, he said.
He revealed the more rain the better, as is the case with anything, just as giving is a good thing in China, and when you give you know you will get something in return.
