Prabowo Urges D8 to Boost Economies for Palestine

Egypt, VIVA – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto called on the eight developing countries in the D8 forum to promote economic growth to support and provide assistance to Palestine.
Then, the President emphasized that without unity and the resolution of differences, the D-8 group cannot be strong in facing current geopolitical challenges.
"We say that we support Palestine. But if we are weak, how can we support Palestine? Therefore, Your Excellencies, let us leverage our collaboration. We must drive economic growth," the head of state said, on Thursday (Dec 19).

The President highlighted that efforts to boost the economy should focus on the power of industry and technology.
Additionally, President Prabowo encouraged the D8 group to work together to make the Muslim world prosperous and capable of overcoming poverty.
"Let us unite to make the D8 a catalyst for positive change, a champion of the aspirations of the Global South, and a beacon for the Muslim community," the President remarked.
As Indonesia prepares for the future, Presudent Prabowo reaffirmed his commitment to this shared vision.
The President urged the D-8 to become a beacon of hope for all nations and the world.
