Indonesia-Jordan Lead the Way in Advocating for Palestinian Rights

Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, stated that Indonesia and Jordan are among the leading nations in supporting the Palestinian people.
"We (Indonesia and Jordan) are at the forefront in defending the interests of the Palestinian people," he said on Monday (Apr 14).
The President also affirmed Indonesia’s full support for the Palestinian struggle, emphasizing the importance of finding a just and balanced peaceful solution in the region.

"Indonesia strongly supports the Palestinian people's right to independence and to have their own state," the head of state added.
On the other hand, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation and respect for the friendship between himself and King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
He also valued the strong bilateral ties between Jordan and Indonesia that have continued to flourish to this day.
"Jordan has long been a close friend of Indonesia, and we always feel a deep sense of solidarity with you," the president concluded.
