“At Kadin, we’ve just launched what we call Kadin GEO, the Global Engagement Office,” he said during the event.
Bakrie explained that GEO is an initiative aimed at creating a coherent and innovative narrative to position Kadin as a strategic partner to the government and as a genuine voice of the business sector.
“We believe the President has great expectations, and we need to support the government in this global engagement initiative,” he stated.
He continued by emphasizing that when Kadin represents Indonesian corporations, it aims to amplify their voice on the international stage.
“At Kadin, we're very clear that we want to be involved in trade and investment, along with the necessary collaborations,” he added.
According to him, both the Indonesian and U.S. private sectors — especially after Kadin’s recent visit — are interested in forging new agreements.
“I believe that the combination of effective government lobbying and active private sector engagement, in partnership with their U.S. counterparts, can help us seize this opportunity and tackle the challenges ahead to elevate Indonesia to the next level,” Bakrie concluded.
