President Prabowo Attends 46th ASEAN Summit in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, VIVA – Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, attended the Plenary Session of the 46th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC), Malaysia, on Monday (May 26) at 9:00 AM local time.
This year's ASEAN Summit carries the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” reflecting Southeast Asian nations' commitment to strengthening inclusive and sustainable cooperation amid various global challenges.
The event began with the arrival of heads of state and government from all ASEAN member countries, followed by a group photo session.

After the photo session, the leaders took their respective seats to begin the official proceedings. The session was formally opened by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
As information, President Prabowo was accompanied by several members of the Merah Putih Cabinet, including Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan P. Roeslani, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
ASEAN member countries present included Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia. Additionally, Timor-Leste attended as an observer and prospective member.
Prabowo’s presence at this regional forum reaffirms Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening regional integration and building stable, mutually beneficial relations in Southeast Asia.
