“This time I came in my capacity as an entrepreneur. We have many business interests in Jakarta—from property to transportation—so we had an open discussion,” Bakrie remarked.

He added, "We explored how we can make Jakarta more comfortable in terms of transportation—environmentally friendly, socially inclusive, and also beneficial for the local government."

Bakrie also noted that Governor Pramono was open and receptive throughout the discussion.

“He also encouraged stronger collaboration. So the partnership between Kadin Jakarta and the Jakarta Provincial Government, which has always been close, should grow even stronger,” he concluded.
