Sri Mulyani: Importance of B20 Forum for World Economic Growth

VIVA – The finance minister, Sri Mulyani Indrawati recognizes the role of the B20 business forum is important. She also said that currently, the global economy is facing difficult challenges for all economic actors including entrepreneurs.

The G20 Summit in Bali was not only attended by heads of state and ministers. However, business people also enlivened the G20 agenda through engagement groups, one is the Business 20 or B20 forum.

"Entrepreneurs who are members of the B20 forum gathered and talked about how to realize the public and private sectors to work together to accelerate economic development," Sri Mulyani wrote in her caption on Instagram @smindrawati, Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

Minister Sri Mulyani also mentioned that global economic conditions are facing very difficult challenges for all economic actors, as well as a dilemma for policymakers.

"In line with the government's efforts to continue to maintain the momentum of recovery by utilizing the fiscal instruments of the state budget #UangKita. I hope B20 members can also use their respective institutional instruments to create more inclusive economic growth," Sri Mulyani added.

The Indonesian Finance Minister emphasized that B20 is a significant forum for world economic growth. Therefore, she hopes that the B20 will continue to maintain this spirit.

"The role and voice of the B20 forum are very significant. Continue to explore creative ways to advance innovative, inclusive, and collaborative growth," Sri Mulyani stated.
