President Jokowi Officially Opens Automotive Exhibition IIMS 2024

Jakarta – The annual automotive exhibition in Indonesia, famous as the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) officially opens for public on Thursday. IIMS 2024 will run until February 25^th.

Hosted by the Dyandra Promosindo, this vehicle exhibition features 187 brands and 53 motorcycle and car brands. 

Just like the previous year, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) opened and inaugurated this exhibition directly.

"Today, I inaugurate the opening of the IIMS 2024 exhibition," President Jokowi said at JIEXpo Kemayoran on Thursday. 

The IIMS 2024 event is expected to be an important turning point in encouraging collaboration between stakeholders and partnerships that are mutually beneficial and can bring automotive to be bigger, said Liliek Oetama as a representative of the organizers of IIMS 2024.

As information, 187 brands are registered as exhibitors, 53 of which come from motor vehicle brands that are ready to enliven the event which runs until February 25.

In fact, there are several newcomer brands that are ready to enliven the Indonesian market, such as BYD and Vinfast.

Furthermore, IIMS 2024 targets transactions of up to IDR5.3 trillion, with a target visit of 470 thousand people during the 11-day exhibition.
