These included 40 incidents of media coverage bans, 12 cases of journalists being shot—resulting in the deaths of two reporters—along with the arrest of seven journalists, some of whom were later released.

The PJS also documented seven cases of physical assault on journalists and media workers, as well as the forced demolition of three journalists’ homes during the same period.

Palestinian journalists and media personnel continue to face home raids, equipment confiscation, house arrest, restrictions on reporting in Jerusalem, and various other forms of intimidation, the PJS added.
