Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto welcomed the visit of Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Dato Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, on Tuesday (April 22), at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
The visit served as a moment to strengthen bilateral relations and reinforce the friendship between the two leaders.

“We talked, we laughed—a lot of laughter,” said the President.
During the meeting, President Prabowo exchanged views and information on various global issues, including economic matters.
One of the topics discussed was the reciprocal tariffs imposed by the United States government under Donald Trump’s leadership.
