President Prabowo: No Other Country Delivers Daily Meals to Pregnant Women

Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, has claimed that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program for pregnant women is the first of its kind in the world.
He stated that no other country currently runs a program where pregnant women receive daily meal deliveries directly to their homes.
"The MBG program starts with pregnant women — perhaps we are the only country in the world doing this. Where else can you find a program that delivers nutritious meals to pregnant mothers every day? Show me if there is such a country," the head of state said on Wednesday (Apr 23).
President Prabowo also revealed that several world leaders had already expressed interest in the program.

He said that he had received letters from international leaders who want to study and learn from Indonesia's MBG initiative.
"Yes, I’ve already received letters from some heads of state, asking to come to Indonesia to learn about this nutritious meal program," he said.
However, President Prabowo explained that it’s still too early to open up the program for international observation, as its full implementation is only expected to be complete by the end of 2025.
"I told them, not yet — we’re still finalizing it. By the end of this year, we’ll have everything fully running," he concluded.
