Anindya Bakrie Met President Trump during State Visit to Qatar

Qatar, VIVA – The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Bakrie, held a private one-on-one conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.
The meeting took place during Trump’s state visit to Qatar.
One of the key events was a dinner reception attended by business leaders at Lusail Palace, Qatar, on the evening of Wednesday (May 14).
According to a television broadcast by Sky News on Thursday, Anindya Bakrie was present at the dinner, where he was welcomed by President Trump along with the host, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Bakrie was seen shaking hands and conversing with President Trump. Their discussion appeared warm and serious, albeit brief.
For context, this business-focused gathering was part of President Trump’s agenda in Qatar. During the visit, the U.S. and Qatar finalized several major economic agreements.
One of the headline deals was between Qatar Airways and American aircraft manufacturer Boeing, valued at US$310 billion.
Qatar Airways reportedly signed a contract to purchase 100 Boeing aircraft.
