Minister Santoso stated that this policy aims to maintain domestic economic stability while strengthening Indonesia's position in international markets. Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to sustainable economic growth.

Several global institutions have predicted that the global economy will grow by approximately 2.7 to 3.2 percent in 2025, a slight improvement compared to the previous year.

Indonesia’s economic growth is projected to reach 5.1 to 5.2 percent in 2025. President Prabowo Subianto remains optimistic, setting an ambitious target for the domestic economy to achieve an 8 percent growth rate by 2029.

Minister Santoso announced the national export growth target of 7.1 percent for 2025. This growth is projected to generate funds totaling US$ 294.45 billion, equivalent to IDR 4,768.1 trillion.

This target was determined after careful consideration of several factors, including Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), global GDP, exchange rates, world commodity prices, and global profit margins.

"These figures remain highly dynamic, as the Ministry of Trade is still in the process of conducting further discussions and research," he remarked.
