President Prabowo: Eid al-Fitr is a Moment of Victory and National Unity

Jakarta, VIVA – In celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah, President Prabowo Subianto extended his heartfelt greetings to Muslims across Indonesia and the world.

"I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of the government and personally, extend my warmest greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1446 Hijriah to all Muslims in the country and around the world," said President Prabowo on Sunday (March 30).

The head of state highlighted that Eid al-Fitr marks a moment of victory after a month of fasting during Ramadan.

Beyond that, it serves as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of kinship and reaffirm moral values.

“After a full month of fasting during Ramadan, we now celebrate our victory. Eid al-Fitr is a sacred moment to seek forgiveness, reinforce our connections with one another, and renew our commitment to becoming better individuals—more patient, more compassionate, and more caring toward others,” he stated.



President Prabowo also called on all Indonesians to embrace Eid al-Fitr as a chance to strengthen national unity and social solidarity.

The head of state also emphasized that the values embedded in the celebration should serve as a foundation for building a more just and prosperous nation.

“I urge all Indonesians, wherever they may be, to make this Eid al-Fitr a source of strength in uniting our nation, enhancing social solidarity, and working toward a future that is fairer, more prosperous, and dignified for the well-being of all,” he added.

Concluding his messages, President Prabowo expressed his prayers and hopes that the Eid celebrations would bring blessings to all Indonesians.

"Minal aidin wal faizin, I sincerely ask for forgiveness both physically and spiritually," he concluded.
