Food Security Initiative Sparks New Hope for Farmers

Sulawesi, VIVA – National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, together with Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman, took part in a large-scale corn harvest in Bolli Village, Bone, South Sulawesi, on Friday (May 16).
Prabowo emphasized that the harvest aims to realize Indonesia's self-sufficiency and food security, and is a reflection of the commitment to support and oversee the Asta Cita program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

He also mentioned that the harvest in South Sulawesi is part of the second quarter's harvest series.
A grand, nationwide harvest is scheduled to take place in June.
"Clearly, the National Police fully supports the policies of the President and the Minister of Agriculture. This certainly brings new hope for farmers," he remarked.
