The Visit to Borobudur Temple Marked a Cultural Bond between Indonesia and France

Magelang, VIVA – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, accompanied French President Emmanuel Macron on a visited to Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Central Java.
President Prabowo said that he felt deeply honored to bring President Macron to the historic cultural site.
"This is a great honor for us to welcome His Excellency (President Macron) at this historic site, a masterpiece of civilization recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage rich in history and spiritual meaning," President Prabowo said on Thursday (May 29).
President Prabowo also stated that Indonesia and France are both major nations with long histories and deeply rooted cultures.

He said the two countries share common values — especially in respecting cultural heritage, religion, and ethnic diversity.
"We want to preserve harmony in life and maintain lasting peace," the president added.
President Prabowo then thanked President Macron for visiting Indonesia. He expressed optimism that the partnership between Indonesia and France will continue to grow stronger.
"Your Excellency, thank you for your visit. I truly believe and am optimistic that our partnership will continue and become a bridge for our cultural figures, artists, creative industry players, and all key people from both our nations," the president concluded.
