Bakrie Group to Develop Three Main Business Lines for the Future

Jakarta – President Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR) Anindya Novyan Bakrie said the direction of the Bakrie Group's business will be focused on three main business lines going forward.Â
The three are in the fields of industrialization, energy and also digitalization, where this will be the driving force of the company group's business in the future.
"These three things, namely industrialization, energy, and also digitalization are the direction of the Bakrie Group, especially for BNBR going forward," Anindya Bakrie said at the BNBR 2023 Annual Public Expose, at Bakrie Tower, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday.Â

First, business lines related to industrialization in which there is Bakrie Metal Industries as part of the Bakrie Group.Â
With the existence of Bakrie Autoparts Industries and Bakrie Construction, Bakrie emphasized that these two business lines will help BNBR in developing in the field of industrialization.
"This is what we want to emphasize, which is about industrialization. But industrialization that is getting smarter, greener," Bakrie remarked.Â

Second, in the energy sector, the Bakrie Group will at least have various lines in it. Among others, starting from Bakrie Power to the Helio business unit with renewable power generation through solar panels.Â
"Currently, VKTR is also generating energy with electrification starting with electric buses and trucks," Bakrie said.Â
Therefore, as a business group, the Bakrie Group is already quite synonymous with business in the energy sector. Although, Bakrie and Brothers (BNBR) will certainly focus on the new renewable energy (EBT) segment.
"Third, we also focus on digitalization. Although it doesn't look big yet, but in Bakrie Brothers with MKN it has started for infrastructure, IT, and Telco," Bakrie concluded.Â
