Bahrain’s head coach, Dragan Talajic, expressed frustration over Indonesian fans' behavior during the pre-match national anthem. He claimed that the 65,000 spectators in the stadium disrespected Bahrain’s anthem by making loud noises.

"I regret one thing—I am here representing the beautiful Kingdom of Bahrain, and I am very disappointed that our national anthem was not respected. I know Indonesia is better than this," said Talajic.

Indonesia’s triumph over Bahrain had a bigger impact on the qualification standings, as China suffered a 0-2 defeat against Australia at Hangzhou Sports Park Stadium.

This result puts Indonesia in fourth place with 9 points from eight matches, surpassing Bahrain and China, who both have 6 points.
