Danantara to Secure $10 Billion in Fresh Capital from Global Banks

Jakarta, VIVA – CEO of the Indonesian Sovereign Wealth Fund Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara), Rosan Roeslani, revealed that Danantara is set to receive an additional $10 billion in capital.

According to him, the extra capital will come from foreign banks and is expected to begin flowing in starting this month.

Initially, Roeslani explained that Danantara had shown significant achievements since its launch on February 24, 2025.

This was evidenced by international investment partnerships worth $7 billion involving Qatar, Russia, China, and Australia.

"In fact, by next July, the institution is projected to receive an additional $10 billion in new funding from foreign banks," Roeslani said in a statement on Wednesday (July 2).

"The level of trust coming from abroad is truly extraordinary, and we are still exploring several other partnerships and funding opportunities," he added.

Furthermore, he emphasized that Danantara Indonesia currently manages assets worth over $1 trillion and oversees 889 strategic State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

"This is a huge responsibility that we are fully committed to, together with the President and Vice President, to carry out this mandate to the best of our ability," Roeslani remarked.

In addition, he highlighted that Danantara’s presence will help accelerate economic development in Indonesia. He believes that achieving 8% economic growth is now within reach.

"With Danantara’s existence, God willing, we can accelerate Indonesia’s economic development and aim for 8% economic growth, as directed by the President," Roeslani concluded.
