Kadin Prepares to Strengthen Ties as Erdogan's Visit Nears

Jakarta, VIVA – The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Bakrie, stated that Kadin is ready to welcome the arrival of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Indonesia next week.
Bakrie made this statement after meeting with the Indonesian Ambassador to Turkiye, Achmad Rizal Purnama, along with a Turkish business delegation at The Convergence Indonesia building in South Jakarta on Saturday (Feb 8).
"This Wednesday, there will be a state visit from President Erdogan, who is very charismatic, well-known, and has a good relationship with President Prabowo, so Kadin is involved," Bakrie said.

He also expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Indonesian Ambassador to Turkiye and the Turkish business delegation.
Bakrie highlighted the many potential collaborations that Indonesia and Turkiye could establish in the future.
"The ties between Indonesia and Turkiye holds incredible potential. Both are major Muslim countries in the world and both are members of the G20," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Ambassador to Turkiye, Achmad Rizal Purnama, stated that the upcoming meeting between President Erdogan and President Prabowo will not only focus on bilateral interests.
"In the coming days, we're looking forward to witnessing how these two great leaders—of Muslim-majority nations, of G20 members, of global south leaders—will meet and discuss not just matters concerning their own countries but also issues of global importance," Purnama stated.
